Learn English through engaging animated song and story videos. The LearnEnglish Kids: Playtime app offers a safe and ad-free learning environment for children aged 6-11. It provides a range of activities and games that focus on key areas of English development, including reading, listening, speaking, and grammar.

• Over 100 Quality Videos: Our expert language learning team at the British Council has created a wide variety of animated songs and stories. These videos are grouped into themes, such as fairy tales, classic children's songs, and grammar chants. Each video includes subtitles that can be toggled on or off, allowing children to read along while listening. Plus, you can download all the videos to watch offline at your convenience. Some of the available videos include Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, Jack and the Beanstalk, Old MacDonald, The Wheels on the Bus, Incy Wincy Spider, and the Tales of Shakespeare.
• Listen-and-Record Activity Encourages Speaking: To build confidence in speaking, each animated video is paired with an engaging listen-and-record activity. This encourages children to say and repeat the words from the video. They can even compare their pronunciation with the narrator's.
• Games to Improve Spelling, Understanding, and Grammar: Alongside the animated videos, each pack comes with challenging word, grammar, and spelling games. These games help children learn and understand the language they encounter in the videos.
• Follow Your Child's Progress: With LearnEnglish Kids: Playtime, you can track your child's progress in five different areas: Videos, Speaking, Spelling, Understanding, and Grammar. This feature allows you to monitor their development and tailor their learning experience accordingly.
• Available in Multiple Languages: The app is not limited to English alone; it also offers French, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. Simply visit the Parents' area to change the language settings.
• Safety and Data Privacy: We take your child's privacy seriously. Rest assured that this app provides a completely safe and ad-free learning environment. While we do track app usage to enhance the learning experience, we do not collect any personal information about your child or your family.
• Manage Your Content Efficiently: The LearnEnglish Kids: Playtime app offers a simple way to manage content. You can easily delete any unwanted packs, which will remove associated videos, games, and progress. However, unlocked bonus items will remain in the Monster Village.
• LearnEnglish Kids: Playtime Subscription: Subscribing to LearnEnglish Kids: Playtime unlocks unlimited access to all songs, stories, and games. There are one-month and six-month subscription options available at varying prices, depending on the plan and region. Payment is charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase. You can manage your subscriptions or turn off auto-renewal in your iTunes account settings.
